If you have been granted SDAC Accommodations by the University, then you can read this page to see more information about how the accommodations are handled in this course. Please review the information carefully and do not hesitate to reach out to you instructor if you have any questions or concerns.

• Extra Time: The Computer-Based Testing Facility will be given your information and will manage providing you with extra time on all of the quizzes / exams that are administered at the CBTF. You cannot take CBTF exams at the SDAC Testing center.
• Reduced Distraction Environment: The Computer-Based Testing Facility has specific seating that is used for students with this accommodation. The CBTF staff has worked with SDAC to ensure that this seating is sufficient to provide this accommodation.
• Exam Reschedule: If you find out you need to reschedule an exam ahead of your CBTF reservation, then you can change your reservation yourself in Prairie Test. Otherwise, you can email cbtf_admin@virginia.edu to request that your old reservation be removed so that you can acquire a new one.
• Reasonable Flexibility in Assignment Deadlines: Our course has a very liberal extension policy in which all students can request 5-day extensions on any assignment. This more than covers the requirement for providing this accommodation according to the SDAC policies.
• Access to Class Recordings: Class is recorded for everybody, so you automatically have access to this accommodation.
• Use of Computer in Lecture: You may use your computer in class even though the course policy prohibits it for other students.
• One Final Exam per Day: You will be able to choose your exam day to take the final exam at the Computer-Based Testing Facility. If you run into a problem in which all possible days with open reservations fall on days you have another final exam, then you can contact your instructor and we will find another day for you to take the exam.
• Reasonable Modification of Course Attendance Policy: We do not have a strict attendance policy, so you can skip class without penalty without special permission.
• Access to Notetaking Services: If you have this accommodation, then we will solicit notetakers by emailing the class. Once found, the notetaker signs up with SDAC to provide notes and then does so throughout the semester.
• Other: If you have another accommodation that is not in the list above, then please reach out to your instructor so that we can discuss how to provide that accommodation and get it added to this page if appropriate.
